We are beginning the task of updating some of the chapters of our earlier publications, starting with a few chapters from our first book Building a Better International NGO, first released in 2013.

However, not intending to do 2nd Edition. Instead, as hugely encouraged by the reaction to the publication of our recent new paper ‘Rebuilding iNGO Leadership‘ on Linked In, plan to release the updated versions of a few of the chapters, also on Linked In, over the coming months.

First up – Chapter 5 – Strategic Planning for international NGOs. Though this chapter got a very warm reaction from many colleagues across the sector, we are continuing to learn and it may be time to do an updated, hopefully improved version, and also make it available in French, Spanish and Portuguese so can be more accessible to organisations across the development world.
